Hello!

My name is Laura Colantonio and I am a creative thinker and adventure-seeker. I am a strong believer in the idea that people see the world differently and through this online display, I am beyond excited to present you with a snapshot of who I am and how I design.

For a brief overview, I previously acted as Creative Director for one of Hawaii’s fastest growing businesses, where I focused on front-end design, shaping the look and feel of collections, and building brand identity through marketing and visual storytelling. Today, I work as a Senior Designer at Handcraft Manufacturing, where my role has expanded into a more product-focused, behind-the-scenes perspective. I design and curate collections for a range of brands and buyers, translating trends into pieces that align with both creative direction and market needs.
 

Having worked across both sides of the process, from concept and branding to product development and execution, I’ve developed a strong understanding of trends and how they evolve. I would consider myself highly trend-driven, with a focus on interpreting what’s next and bringing it to life in a way that feels both relevant and intentional.

I am continuously looking to advance my skillset and knowledge of the world of business and art through new opportunity. I am a Seton Hall Class of 2018 alumni, where I graduated with a double major in Marketing and Interactive Multimedia Design, a double minor in Web Design and Animation, and a certificate in Marketing Research.

My biggest joys include my pup Milo, photography, exploring new places, and creating.
